Fishing Report - Smallmouth and trout fishing is on fire!

Fly fishing across Michigan's U.P. continues to be on fire! I have seen what was quite possibly the largest Hendrickson hatch I have ever seen followed up by a very large Brown Drake hatch that is in its tail end. With the current weather that we have had the rivers are very healthy with plenty of water flow and coooool temperatures.
The current hatches are as follows sulfurs, various caddis, a few stones and some spotty bwos and ISOs. Streamer fishing continues to provide fish and with the current water levels sink tips or full sinking lines are the way to go!
Giving the troot a break the other night we did some smallie recon and had some some well deserved success and again with the current water levels big streamers on sinking lines proved the ticket!
Until next time GOD bless and be safe
